The Best of Dalí 5-hour tour takes you into the surreal world of the Catalan artist Salvador Dalí by visiting his amazing museum, Teatre Museu Dalí, in Figueres (reached via chauffeur or high-speed train). The 9-hour tour—only offered by car—also includes Dalí’s house, which is located in Portlligat-Cadaqués, an awesome landscape on the northern coast of Catalonia (Costa Brava), and the unique Gala’s castle in Púbol, where Dalí’s wife and muse lived. This is the so-called Dalí Triangle tour because the three sites form a triangle on a map. They sit in northeastern Catalonia, very close to the French border.
Not necessarily. We will visit sites in the most efficient and logical order, customized to take into account your hotel’s location, where you’d like the tour to finish, and the best timing to avoid crowds.
The tour takes place rain or shine. The weather in Figueres is very pleasant and sunny most of the time, never extremely hot or cold. However, we do get occasional rain, mostly March to May and October to November. Check the weather forecast before the tour and be prepared to enjoy your time in Figueres, rain or shine.
Of course! With young children, we may limit the number of site visits and take short breaks to enjoy an ice cream. (Adults can request these little breaks as well!)
Some sites such as Salvador Dalí’s house and Gala Dalí’s Castle close certain days in winter/ low season.
They are not entirely wheelchair accessible. Dalí’s house and Gala’s castle are not accessible. Unfortunately, the Dalí Museum has no elevator and few ramps.
Yes but please let us know to plan it according to your needs. We kindly recommed you take the shortest version. Notice that there are steps and no elevators.
