Kids (as well as teenagers and adults) will be challenged, surprised, and will be actively engaged during this 3- to 4-hour unique, unforgettable, customized experience. This tour presents Gaudí’s architecture (Sagrada Familia and Park Güell) and the oldtown (Gothic Quarter) in a completely new and fun way using visual aids and materials specially designed by an expert English-speaking docent. The tour usually ends with a visit to the Chocolate Museum, FC Barcelona stadium, or an art workshop.

Sites covered in 3 to 4 hours:

  • to Sagrada Familia
  • to Park Güell
  • through the Gothic Quarter
  • finishing at the FC Barcelona stadium / Camp Nou or the Cochocolate Museum
  • and if necessary we can also stop for some snacks in between!

Since person person is unique and has his or her own way of learning, we tailor the tour to your family’s pace. Thus, the length can differ slightly from tour to tour.

Although we will adapt the tour to your kids and their needs, the ideal age is 5 to 11 years old. If your children are younger or older than this age, please let us know.

Yes. If you are booking the chauffeured tour, please let us know so that we can arrange an appropriate car or bus. Park Güell has an adapted itinerary with ramps.

The walking tour takes about one hour and it is all on flat terrain. Park Güell might be difficult for people with severe walking challenges. We will adapt the tour to your needs.

Unless you specifically request it, the tour does not include climbing the towers; availability is very limited and the towers occasionally close on windy or rainy days. If you would like to visit the Sagrada Familia towers, let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to arrange it.

Sagrada Familia asks female visitors to cover their shoulders inside of the church and not wear shorts or miniskirts. If you are visiting Barcelona in the summer time, just make sure to bring a scarf to cover your shoulders in the church, and avoid wearing shorts that day.
